Arnold Park Picnic Reservations

Arnold Park Picnic Reservations:
There are four covered picnic shelters at Arnold Park located on Andrews Rd., Vestal. They all have water, power and a charcoal grill.
Cost: The shelters are rented by the day.
Hours: 8:00 AM to a half hour after sunset.
$30.00 - Monday - Thursday Vestal Residents
$50.00 - Monday - Thursday Non-Residents
$75.00 - Friday, Saturday & Sunday Vestal Residents
$95.00 - Friday, Saturday & Sunday Non-Residents
Alcohol is now permitted for $50.00 additional fee per shelter per day and there are insurance certificate requirements. Look under General info, Dept. info, forms under law for alcohol at picnics and Obtaining an Alcohol Permit.

Reservations can be made online under "reserve" or "facilities"
To view general availability, please scroll down to the bottom of this page for the current activities list. To view a specific date range, select a start/end date and click submit. This calendar is for information purposes only; availability is not guaranteed. To see if any of the shelters have been reserved mark the box "show facilities" under the dates.
If a reservation can be granted, we will then send you a confirmation and bill you if it is available. You will then have a week after confirmation email to pay online with a credit card. Cash or check only accepted in office.

Shelter #1 - holds a maximum of 125 and is the first shelter on the right as you drive through the park. It is across from the playground. This shelter is the newest and is the same size as shelter #3.
Shelter #2 - holds a maximum of 80 and is the second shelter on the right as you drive through the park. This shelter is new but it is smaller than #1 and #3.
Shelter #3 - holds a maximum of 125 and is the first shelter on the left as you drive through the park. It is near the sand volleyball court.
Shelter #4 - holds a maximum of 75 and is the second shelter on the left as you drive through the park. It is at the top of the hill at the end of the park.
Tents and Inflatable rides are prohibited. No decorating of pavilion structure allowed. All table covering and fasteners must be removed upon completion of your picnic. There are no refunds and this includes inclement weather. Any emergencies or major problems (not related to park maintenance) after 4:00 PM weekdays or anytime on the weekends, please notify the Vestal Police Department at their non-emergency #754-2111. They have a copy of all picnic permits. We do not double book so you have your shelter for the entire day. Also - there is a water fountain next to each shelter but the spigots will be locked. You can go up to the bathroom if you need to fill a coffee urn or to wash up.
